This established wine-making family settled on this particular vineyard in 2000 deciding to take the challenge of creating an excellent quality vineyard in the Montravel appellation -- a challenge which they have successfully accomplished turning the vineyard totally organic with a plethora of awards to vouch for the wine's quality. The property is made up of a cluster of Perigourdine houses set together forming a small hamlet with beautiful views across the valley and their vines. The owners built the vinification chai to suit their needs keeping it open but with a roof to allow for good cross-ventilation. The vines are in pristine condition and the winemaker has achieved an excellent quality of wine, both red and white. The new owners will take over the property in good running order with the possibility of stamping their personal style on the two houses which require some updating.
